OK, the answer is: the data that's specified in the Atom format
specification (not quite 100% settled). Fortunately, that not only
specifies the data but the representation. Furthermore, we know the
operations we want to accomplish on that data: create, update, and
delete. Furthermore we have a substantial body of work already
accomplished, written up at
http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-ietf-atompub-protocol-01.txt
If people want to do model-level work to deepen their understanding,
that's fine. But to me it doesn't become real until you can start
talking about how you're going to replace/modify the existing spec.
