The Atom draft-ietf-atompub-format-03.txt [1] uses the terms atom:published and atom:updated that seem to have some relation to the current atom:issued, atom:created and atom:modified fields. Should the terminology perhaps not be synched up with the terminology of the format document?

Also how does one create an entry without publishing it in the Atom API?
