I pointed out that "renaming a jpg" could be accomplished with 
POST+DELETE.  I was not suggesting anything with regards to whom has 
control over the new name, or any other semantics that may be implied by 
a MOVE method, or whether or not MOVE should or should not be included 
in the Atom protocol specification.

I'm not sure what case you are trying to make, but in my experience, 
this style of debate is unlikely to produce the consensus you seek.
