Collection convergence?

I must say I'm enjoying the conversation here, with Pace authors and 
actual implementors being polite to each other and acknowledging each 
others' points and revising language.  I'm kind of behind, and I was 
just now going to go and read all the collection Paces.  But before I 
do that, I was wondering if all this politeness might signal that 
there's a chance to do some converging and merging and come up with a 
collection Pace that has a lot of people's work in it & wide support?
