I agree with your assessment of Joe's argument, your observation that
HTTP is a two-verb protocol in practice, and I am for the SOAP wrapper
in general, but I also agree with Joe :)
The system in question strips HTTP headers, and therefore doesn't use HTTP.
Surrealism objection! The system we've specified to begin with doesn't
use HTTP by that criteria. HTTP systems don't put their methods in
SOAPAction headers.
We can do this without the SOAPAction in short order. Everybody can win,
unless winning is not enough for some.
