The server echoes the representation? Why? Why not just 200 OK.

3.1.1.1 You have "start" in one place and "offset" in another.

CONCLUSION: protocol-03 was obviously the result of a lot of hurried editing and is kind of messy. This is smoother but incomplete. I'd be more comfortable if we could iterate fast and have a protocol-04 ASAP; I'd like to get us back on a routine of scheduling Paces and adopting them or not, but frankly our protocol draft(s) are too chaotic to do this productively right now. -Tim
