Secondly, I don't think many of the elements included in the namespace are appropriate for standardization. They look like extensions to me.

PacePubControl was motivated by the post from Brent Simmons referenced in the Pace; perhaps you could take a moment and address Brent's arguments? I found them pretty compelling, and Brent's standing as an implementor is impeccable. -Tim
