Yes, I know that, but it's way to sparse and does in no way help
document the model.

According to Section 4.1 the server can do whatever it wants. I expect
that most servers will treat the PUT entry as the whole thing (replacing
ids and edit links, of course).


So one of the major functions defined in APP is, uh, pretty much undefined? :)
