I'd planned to attend (not ETech, just the interop) but given the 3 faces only signed up for f2f on the wiki and one of them just dropped out, I don't think I can justify the travel (I'm based in Texas).

We should probably work on a fallback plan.   Folks on the Google developer team contacted me and said they'd be willing to assist in hosting an interop event in Mountain View if that would get sufficient critical mass.....
