"Atompub" and "Atom protocol" are OK, or we could just always
and consistently just say "Atom"

"Atompub" works for me but I'm just as happy with "APP".

"AtomPub" isn't as short and concise [as "APP"], but I know
that when I search for it, I'll get a clean resultset.

The “AtomPP” coinage has already gained some traction [but]
“Atompub” would work just as well for me.

My favourite has always been AtomPub over any of the others. I
could live with AtomPP but I find it ackward to pronounce.

"Atom" has a clear identity nowadays in the software community. As
long as "Atom" is spelled out in the name, it will work fine.

Long name: "Atom Publishing Protocol"

Short name: "AtomPub"

I think I can see a trend here…

Whether or not anything comes from Tim’s push, I shall be
switching from “AtomPP” to “Atompub”.

Okay; now, what should the T-shirt look like?
