RE: General purpose synchronization using Atompub
If you are interested in AtomPub for synchronization then you should take a look at http://dev.live.com/feedsync/spec/v1.htm

Subject: General purpose synchronization using Atompub
At Oracle, we have been working on a read-write browser cache of Atom
data. While there is no consensus on the use of Atompub for
synchronization, I figured getting the community feedback on what we
have done will provide benefits to both.
Here's a paper on our work that I would love to get your feedback: http://o-micron.blogspot.com/2008/06/mobile-databases-or-write-through-web.html
.
Brian Smith (through another mailing list) read this paper and
recommended that I share it with this ML. What do you think - a case
of angels fear... or the early bird ...?
