I'm part of the shadowy conspiracy of backchannel people. My sole
comment to Joe, who is too polite to quote me, was "I'd never heard of
RSD before seeing it in Atom". I don't know if that's a sign of my
ignorance or of RSD obscurity. 

I haven't looked closely enough at discovery in Atom to know what's
right. Would WSDL be applicable? I know it would be in a SOAP case,
and I've heard rumours it should be in REST-like APIs.
