No, that was a pretty clear statement :), but let's also make the following
_very_ clear:
> The wild accusations of a conspiracy aren't going to help

putting RSD in there to begin with.
There have been no such accusations of conspiratorial behaviour in the
mailing list messages I've read on the subject. The simple fact of the
matter is this: Your draft API is largely considered to be _the_ API. As
such it is surely assumed by many to be indicative of current consensus or
at least majority. If the issue of Introspection vs RSD really is open, then
either the RFC should describe the usage of a) both or b) neither. To
present only one option increases the effort required by those who might
oppose it, an especially unfair situation to place them in given that there
is no consensus on the issue - in other words, its not something they need
to be "opposing" as such because there are still two options to be
championing.
Having said that, I would be perfectly happy with you presenting the RFC
simply as "Joe's take on the API issue", and while you almost surely
intended the document as such I would dare say that it has evolved well past
that state and you will have to go to far more effort to make that point
clear to the community than a single atom-syntax post that says "I DO NOT
CARE WHICH FORMAT IS USED". I'm here. I read your "I DO NOT CARE" statement.
I understand it. I know exactly where you are coming from. But many parties
are not here, will not have seen it, and will only see what they read in the
RFC itself.

To be clear, I have no particular technical preference for either RSD or
Introspection, as I have not had an opportunity to work with either of them
to any degree. However, based on what has been said here regarding the
existence of RSD as prior art, as well as the stated extensibility of RSD, I
would have to side with RSD.
