"Noindex" marker on feeds?

Is there a provision in the current feed format for telling robots not 
to index the contents of an Atom feed? My own quick search through the 
Wiki turns up nothing.

Since not all feed creators will have the ability to edit a robots.txt 
file (either because they're not at the top level of their domain, or 
for administrative reasons, or otherwise), what about something along 
the lines of:

<robots allow="none" />

At the feed level?  Other attribute values might be  ALL and METADATA, 
for example.

Suggestions welcome.  Responses to my earlier post on xml:lang 
inadequacies even more welcome.
