The ATOM API is not baked enough to start trying to
fork it and compete with it in such a manner. I plan
to do this when the spec is baked especially since I
see almost no chance of me implementing the REST-based
API so I will be creating a SOAP-based version of the
spec.
Given that I might as well just swap out the payload
to RSS instead since this makes it easier on me than
changing the internals of RSS Bandit to use the ATOM
data model.
When the spec is baked, trust me you'll see me step up
and do the work. Right now I have to deal with
figuring out how to extend OPML for some of the
features I need for the subscription harmonizer
feature I've built into RSS Bandit. One at a time
here. :)
