PaceDontSyndicate Questions

I'm having trouble understanding a few aspects of PaceDontSyndicate.

Every entry has an id, so it's straightforward for one entry to link to
another. However, I don't understand how an entry with XHTML content is
supposed
to refer to an image contained in another entry. In an img tag, what would the
value of @src be?

Another concern is that the Pace adds an attribute to format spec that seems
odd
in the context of the document element. To me, it reads like the entry
shouldn't be passed on, rather than as a display directive. I think it's
just the proposed name that's confusing me. Maybe something like role="related"
and role="principle"? (Not that those are particularly catchy)

I do think this Pace is a good idea in general. It'll be interesting to see if
there are any gaps once the API has the ability to post arbitrary resources (a
goal in the charter). That said, there's always the option of posting entries
with content types like SMIL, so it doesn't seem that anything will be
_impossible_.
