Interesting. Any reason for not creating an AtomAPI namespace?
For example:

<feed xmlnx:atomapi="http://purl.org/atom/api/ns#"; ..

  <atomapi:post>http://...</atomapi:post>
  <atomapi:edit>http://...</atomapi:edit>
