Welcome to the Internet Mail Consortium's IDNA test tool. This tool is provided as an example of how to implement in Perl the IDNA protocol. See the web site for the previous IETF IDN WG for more information.

• The UnicodeConvert.pl program converts between various encodings.
• The ToASCII.pl and ToUnicode.pl programs for doing the main parts of IDNA.
• AllSubs.pl is the subroutines for ToASCII and ToUnicode.
• The charlint.pl program for doing the normalization step. (Charlint does much more than normalization, such as checking the validity of the Unicode data tables.)
