I agree with Edward Vielmetti.
I want MIME for the headers, not the rich text.
Define Content types for existing formats, and wait for the
battle over standard text formats to settle out a little.
Add the "setext" format (used in TidBITS) to his list - very simple,
readable stuff: **bold**, _underlined_, etc.
