Not sure if these messages are aimed directly at JEDDS, or just making
points.

Maybe I didn't make it clear - we are using x- within our project only
until

1) the format is agreed/fixed
2) it is agreed by GEDI and the JEDDS project

then we certainly do intend to register, dropping the x-

However, thanks for the encouragement to register earlier rather than
later
