Actually, USCAR is working on reducing the number of no-value-add designs.
Are you aware that there are over 40 different car jacks and 60 different
gas caps.  Engineering studies have determined that only about 8 jack and 6
gas cap designs are really needed.  You will start seeing this
simplification in the '98 products that will be coming out this summer....
