Yet unresolved is whether an application/calendar object can contain more
than 1 event. As I read the discussions this evening, I see more sentiment
for multiple events objects in an app/cal object. Adopting vCalendar's
framing makes this possible. In addition, it seems likely the event object
definition language can't be a strict subset of MIME syntax. In this case,
insisting the object frame conform to MIME syntax seems even more misplaced.
While estimations of the code complexity are useful to guide one's thinking
about what ought to be attempted, until we're agreed on the range of what
can be included in an app/cal, objecting because the resulting
implementation will be too "big" seems premature.
I found Skip's metaphors compelling. Nice work, Mr. Montanaro! Too bad
you couldn't make the meeting, I hope you've got your woolies on.
