Not to rain on anyone's parade (in spite of the recent, local
storms) but why can't this be done over the net and on the list?
Interim meetings like this are entirely legal and do occur
occasionally but they are rare. The effort in the IETF is to conduct as
much working group business as possible over the mailing list, to permit
the widest possible participation. Even without membership or attendance
fees, the cost of travel and the disruption to daily schedule constitute a
significant barrier to broad participation. (In this case, that barrier
might look pretty obscure, since I don't doubt there will be a lot of
bodies in attendance, but still...)
