I think all the products I've seen use cleartext passwords for
authentication and access control.  Hopefully most of these vendors will
implement our work at some stage, and this will improve.

Since iCAP is still in it's infancy (we've hardly had any real arguments,
yet :-), it's not going to be in anyone's glossy literature.
