Swedish Request

This is from Greg FitzPatrick.  I am involved in several metadata
projects (Dublin Core) for the Swedish Department of Education and
several EU work packages.

In Sweden we are attempting to organize the producers of  scheduled
events in the cultural sector to adapt a common standard for dates and
events.

We have been looking at iCalendar, but of course it was not exactly
intended for what we are doing though many of the features are right.
We still need a clasification system for the events; tv, radio, live
concert, lecture.....

Can anyone give us some advice.
