EDI Pilots

Hi, 

 I'm new on this mailing list. I'm working on an European Project
(ET-ASSIST) founded by the European Commission which is developing an
EDI - EDIFACT standard about medical assistance (EDI-ASSIST). I
especially work on EDI over Internet (it is the choice of our project to
use Internet as an 'EDI Network'). 
Could you inform me about the pilots testing EDI over Internet and what
kind of technologies are used (PGP ?, S/MIME ?).
