D-H IS an asymetric encryption algorithm, just like Elgamal and RSA.  Each
has its strengths and weaknesses and tends to be used for different parts of
the problem.

In fact if you look into Oakley/ISAKMP you will see it uses D-H to secure
the exchange that involves RSA keys....

Or something like that ;)
