To you, the email address seems to identify the EDI. That may end up being
the case for 10 million EDI users that do 10% of the world's EDI. But for
the 100,000 EDI users that do 90% of the world's EDI, there is frequently
first an agreement to do business. This results in an identifier placed in
each TD's supplier database. This is sometimes used in the ISA.
