John,
can you give concrete document references for UNTDI?
Are you willing to write up an RFC for it?

(The RFC shold really contain only:
- The name
- The document reference
- A statement saying why some communities choose to use this
  format and not EDIFACT or X12.
About 2 pages in total)

Submit as internet-draft, and see if the group agrees that the
draft is correct, then ask to have it published as RFC of some kind.
(As of Aug 23, RFC publication is now REQUIRED for media types that
don't start with the "prs." or "vnd." identifiers)
