Some VANs already are beginning to support Internet-EDI services. After
a standard is agreed upon and companies begin using it, I believe all
VANs will soon support services and message deliveries to trading partners
using these standards. VANs will refocus on value added services rather
than network services, which will be competitive with direct TP-TP
messaging.

In my long review, I suggested mentioning usage with VANs, whereby the
VANs may perform encryption/signatures by proxy for existing clients.
