I forgot to mention one advantage of signing a receipt (MDN) vs imbedding
a signature code inside the MDN (over part of the original message). If
the receipt is signed, then the standard MIME signature processing is the
same for all email (original and receipts), vs having a separate form of
signature extraction and authentication when inside the MDN.
