I didn't like it, sounded like a bug magnet to me, but I decided to say 
nothing in case someone came up with justification.

How about not having an IMAP lunch, btw? How about a proper dinner at a 
marginally expensive place instead? (You can buy Ken a glass of vintage 
armagnac afterwards, that's sure to make him forgive you.)
