I know at least four clients that send STATUS at regular intervals for a 
lot of mailboxes in order to monitor them. That's the direct reason why 
NOTIFY uses unsolicited STATUS messages. I read mail from Cyrus about 
STATUS and IDLE, thought for ten seconds, switched windows and typed 
the text that's now in NOTIFY ;)
