Protocol-02 proposed change

I would suggest changing start replication response to:

StartReplicationResponse ::= [APPLICATION 24] SEQUENCE {
	requestName	[0] LDAPOID
	requestValue	[1] OCTET STRING
}

requestValue ::= SEQUENCE {
	replicaUpdateVector	Attribute OPTIONAL
}

This defines it properly as a response, eliminates the
redundant response code field, and allows omission of the
replicaUpdateVector when it doesn't make sense (consumer
initiated replication sessions).

Hopefully this can make discussion in the session tomorrow - I
am unable to attend.
