Multiple ASCII hash key?

Section 7 says I can specify multiple hashes for clearsigned text,
i.e.

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash:MD5,SHA1,RIPEMD160  (is there a space after the colon?

text to be signed

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE-----

ascii armored signature(s)
-----END...

If I specify multiple hashes, I assume I specify multiple signature
packets, each being a signature using one of the hashes specified in the
"Hash: ..." term?

The text reads "If more than one message digest is used in the signature,"
and signature is singular not plural.

And can I have multiple signers (like a petition)?  What if they use
different hashes?
