your commentary below the WG Chairs roles need to be formally defined and
added to the Charter proper.
That is, of course, unnecessary. The role of WG Chairs in IETF WGs is
well-defined in RFCs 2026 and 2028. In addition, the appeal process
for those people who feel aggrieved is also clearly laid out in RFC
2026. You may want to read these RFCs and follow them instead of
asking that the PKIX WG act any differently than the other WGs in the
IETF.
