Following up Carlisle's comment, here is a change to my paragraph re
CMP/CRS that has been agreed with Carlisle:

certificate management messages onto CMS and providing the vehicle for
developing common formats for other certificate management messages (i.e.,
messages other than certificate request)."

Please change the final clause to:

 and providing the vehicle for producing an RFC (or RFCs) that document
