It's pretty much your call if you are going with an in-house
solution for a "nonconventional" DIT. If not, you are limited to what
doesn't cause off-the-shelf products to choke (especially when you leave the
"enterprise enclave"). For now, we have found it advisable to train all our
folks in the Heimlich maneuver!
