Paul: 

We worked on CMC as an author group which represented four companies (MS,
Netscape, Verisign, and Cisco) who each intend to implement it. Here, we
vetted it with developers on the client and server sides and I'm pretty sure
that the others did as well BEFORE we published each version of the draft.
Therefore, I do not share your concern that CMC won't be implementable or
interoperable.
