As someone who was at both of the workshops I can honestly say that
nightmare and dismal  do not accuratly describe the
results we have been seeing.  By the end of the second workshop most of the
participants were exchanging cert requests
and responses with most of the other participants. This was accomplished
with out having to make any changes from what is
in the current RFC.

Unfortunatly a poor choice of words has caused this discussion to turn from
a suggestion of a possible better way to
do things to a perceived roasting of CMP.
