OIDs Used with S/MIME

Appendix A of the S/MIME spec lists many of the OIDs needed for S/MIME developers. However, the spec only lists the OIDs for things that are named in the spec. The following two files are needed by developers in order to understand all the OIDs used in S/MIME implementations.

The file sm-oid.asn lists the official S/MIME OID arc, maintained by Russ Housley.

The file other-smime-oids.asn lists other OIDs that S/MIME developers should be aware of. It is the repository of known OIDs used in S/MIME development.
