There is a document called "JUNET Riyou No Tebiki" (JUNET User's
Guide), and it includes guidelines about the actual escape sequences
to be used, going out of and back into Kanji for every newline, and so
on. I have a copy of one of the versions of the document, but it is in
Japanese. I don't know if anyone has translated it.
