RFC1425 and friends to Draft Standard
o Tightening the text of RFC 1426 to explicitly permit the
binary-with-line-breaks model proposed for 8BITCLEAN and
require that implementations work that way.
Wasn't binary-with-line-breaks realy a sugestion for a new c-t-e that works
well with 8BITMIME? I can't see any reason to mention that explicitly. Or
are you thinking about mentioning in the RFC that changing bare CRs and LFs
into something else could break truly binary contents? Neither that nor
mentioning that the 1000 character line limit makes 8BITMIME unsuitable for
true binary transport should be neccesary, but if these things aren't
crystal clear more implementors will do it wrong.
