But even that will not prevent overflow of REALLY long addresses :-(
Is it really so important to keep within 80 columns for the relatively few
occasions this problem will arise? How often do you actually SEE an email
with a single address that long?

Why would you need two versions of the date/time specification? AFAICS
date-time is used in Date: and Resent-Date:. Unnecessary CFWS is
undesirable in both cases.
