I think it desirable that somebody out there should be routinely checking
them. I have recently started putting all the news articles I read through
a verifier. Mostly they come up with "signature by unidentified key", and
then I look to see if it is somebody I might care about and, if it is, I
get that key into my key ring.
No, I have not had a bad signature yet.
