No. You're talking about ftext, not qtext. The only place that qtext
is allowed is in the contents of quoted-string. Note that qtext above
includes NO_WS_CTL, which is control characters except for CR, LF,
and white space.
For header field names, ftext is defined as:
ftext = %d33-57 / ; Any character except
%d59-126 ; controls, SP, and
; ":".
