OK, that is a new problem, which we can discuss, though I do not see any
simple solution, and some people seem not to want the feature anyway.
It would arise, in particular, if some new group suddenly created a
brand-new sub-hierarchy of comp.*, and in such a rare situation one might
expect the issuer to seed the Newsgroups header with a few carefully
selected 'pointers'.
Another way might be to ask for an explicit feed of 'control.newgroup' (I
imagine it would work without any bother). In fact, that is the _only_ way
to do it if you are using a suck feed (as I am).
