I personally had some difficulties since mid November, but they have been
straightened out...
I have a comment, that doesn't concern the OUGHT issue, but rather the bit
on control characters -- does anyone know which newsreaders recognize
backspace for underlining?
I know bunches (particularly Amiga) of newsreaders that recognize the
*bold*, /italic/, _underline_ convention, but none (that I know of) that do
so for backspace.
Spoilers, yes, backspace (that I know of), no.
In fact, I've seen it faked using "hel^Hc^Hl" to indicate strike-through,
but never for underline.
