And I don't want *bold*, /italic/ or whatever funny conventions that
are out there. If are to have formatted use, there is text/html.
I could live with the funny backspace thing - but only if it is
declared obsolete. Thus Charles's revised wording does not have my
support.
Backspace SHOULD NOT be used.
