Okay, so let's make the "From:" header optional.
Considering the way news work, "From:" - much like
"Organization:" - is a purely informational header for the
(human) reader, i.e. news could be distributed just fine
without that header. Rejecting or not forwarding an article
because of a "missing" "From:" header is an artificial
restriction, not an interoperability problem.
